What is Dinner in the Dark?
Dinner in the Dark is an immersive dining experience where guests enjoy a specially curated tasting menu whilst blindfolded, allowing flavour, texture and aroma to take centre stage.
How long does the experience last?
The experience begins at 6:30pm and is expected to last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Will I be blindfolded throughout the experience?
Yes. Guests will be blindfolded for the duration of the dining experience to fully immerse themselves in the sensory journey.
Do I need to guess the dishes?
You don't have to, but that's part of the fun. Compare notes with your fellow diners and see how close you came.
Will I know what I'm eating?
Not until the end. Each course is designed as a surprise, encouraging guests to trust their senses and discover flavours in a completely new way.
Is there a vegetarian option?
Yes. A vegetarian tasting menu is available and can be selected when booking.
Can dietary requirements or allergies be accommodated?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the experience, we are unable to accommodate dietary requirements or allergies other than the vegetarian menu option.
Is alcohol included?
Your ticket includes one drink on arrival. Additional drinks can be purchased during the evening. Or you can choose out wine flight pairing.
Where is the event taking place?
The experience will be hosted in a private dining room or dedicated event space within the participating venue.
Is there an age restriction?
Guests must be aged 18 or over to attend.
Is the experience scary?
Not at all. While the experience is designed to challenge your senses and spark curiosity, it is a relaxed, enjoyable and social dining event.
